On November 4, 2015 the City officially cut the ribbon on the recently renovated Durr Field. The field is named after a local icon, Amos Durr. He was a long-time city employee and Deacon at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Renovations included laser grading, new sod, a high tech lighting system, irrigation system, and fence. The project was funded though a community development block grant. We were happy to have so many people from the community come out to celebrate the grand opening of the new and improved field!
