Mayor Pro-Tem Brett North presented the annual U.S. Marine Corps Day proclamation to Acworth Detective David St. Onge. Detective St. Onge enlisted approximately seven months after high school in February 1994. His final duty station was Camp LeJeune North Carolina after basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina and his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) was avionics electronics. Detective St. Onge's father also served in the Marine Corps. Mayor Pro-Tem North thanked Detective St. Onge for his prior service to the U.S. Marine Corps, as well as to the Acworth Police Department.
