Alderman Tim Richardson acknowledged operators from the Kennehoochee Amateur Radio Club and presented the annual proclamation in recognition of Amateur Radio Week, June 18 - 24, 2018. Operators met at Dallas Landing on Saturday, June 23 at 8:00 a.m. to set up and demonstrate emergency communications preparedness during the Annual American Radio Relay League 'Field Day' exercise that will be held for 24 hours through June 24. Approximately, 20 boy scouts participated to earn their merit badges, as well as attendance from other spectators.
