Mayor Tommy Allegood presented the Red Ribbon Week Proclamation to Metro Atlanta Young Marines Treyton Cronk, Jeffrey Thomas and Hudson Bashkin. The Red Ribbon Campaign was established to encourage involvement in drug prevention and reduction efforts. National Red Ribbon Week (October 23 - 31) encourages Americans to wear a Red Ribbon to show their support for a drug-free environment.
