Mayor Tommy, along with Eddie Canon, Cobb County Parks Director, presented the Georgia Recreation Parks Association Volunteer of the Year Award to Malinda Howe. In addition to volunteering for Acworth parks and recreation programs, Ms. Howe serves as an intricate member of the Acworth Tourism Bureau and has made great contributions on behalf of the City. Mr. Canon commented on the great parks, programs, facilities, staff and volunteers that advocate quality of life for the Acworth community.
