The City of Acworth is excited as the opening of the Acworth Community Center approaches this Spring! The center is a beautiful, 44,000 square foot facility located minutes from I-75 at the corner of Cherokee Street and Logan Road. Included in the facility are two high school regulation basketball courts, which are also painted for volleyball and pickleball; a multi-purpose classroom, group exercise room, and banquet hall. Along with programming in the areas of instructional classes, events, athletics, camps, active adult programs, fitness, and therapeutic recreation, the facility will include several rental options for both small and large scale events and opportunities for open play and free use of the walking track during normal operating hours. Normal operating hours are Monday-Friday 7AM-8PM and Saturdays 8AM-2PM. Below are the Community Center rooms and suggested uses.
Individuals will be able to access the group exercise room via punch passes ($2 Drop In, $20-10-Punch Pass, $45-25-Punch Pass and $170-100-Punch Pass). Classes will be taught through a virtual fitness program called Fitness on Demand (www.fitnessondemand247.com) along with one Live Meditation for Wellness class. Included in the schedule will be a variety of classes ranging from easy to advanced in the areas of Yoga, HIIT, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Cardio, Upper Body, and Lower Body. Participants may use facility equipment (dumbbells, yoga mats, steps, medicine balls) or bring your own. Schedule coming soon!

GYMNASIUM:
Includes two full-size basketball courts with optional divider, also lined for volleyball and pickleball. Perfect option for athletic tournaments, business expos, health fairs, etc.
MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM:
Intimate space anticipated to hold approximately 30 people. Room will include built in cabinets, counters, and sink. Perfect space for workshops, classes, showers, or small gatherings.
TANYARD CREEK OVERLOOK (TCO): 
Beautiful banquet hall featuring breathtaking views of Tanyard Creek. Space will accommodate up to 300 people for a seated meal. This space is anticipated to become one of the top locations in Acworth for large scale weddings/receptions, upscale corporate events, and celebrations.
