Alderman Price presented the annual Georgia Arbor Day Proclamation to members Cyndi McLaughlin, Richard Rosenberger and Sylvia Flanagan of the Tree Commission. Arbor Day is recognized in the City of Acworth March 7, 2019. This year marks Acworth's 30th year as a Tree Community. Additionally, Arbor Day poster contest winners from McCall Primary, Acworth Intermediate, Frey Elementary, Cornerstone Prepatory Academy, and Brookwood Christian School were acknowledged and awarded certificates.
