Mayor Tommy presented the annual Patriots Day proclamation to Wayne Brown of the Captain John Collins Chapter of the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution. Mr. Brown advised on the series of events that led up to the American Revolution that began in Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775. The proclamation recognizes those who laid their lives on the line to establish the United States of America. The Chapter will celebrate its 100th year anniversary in 2021.
