On Friday, November 20th the City of Acworth held a ribbon cutting at Brookwood Christian School. Students at Brookwood Christian have set up a drive-up coffee and pastry bar which will be open for business on Monday, November 30. Their hours of operation will be Monday – Friday from 8am – 9am (while school is in session). Kelly Nagel’s students at BCS come in an hour and a half early to school every day to operate their business and all the proceeds go to a scholarship fund. These students have been doing research around costs of goods sold, startup funds, cash flow, writing a business plan, and even target market analysis!
