Mayor Tommy and Alderman Richardson presented a proclamation to K9 Uno in recognition of his retirement. K9 Uno began his tour of duty with the Acworth Police Department on October 17, 2011. K9 Uno, along with Sergeant Jason Larocque, completed 714 deployments and are responsible for numerous illegal narcotics being removed from the streets of Acworth and for thousands of dollars of illegal drug capital being seized, which much of that funding benefits children in the community.
