Chief Dennard acknowledged members of the "C-Shift," Sergeant Cantrell, and Officer(s) Severtson, Negrete, and Hall for their recent nomination at the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce Public Safety Awards Breakfast. Chief Dennard presented a video of the officers assisting a homeless man who was suffering from hypothermia due to being out in the elements, who would have died eventually if the officers did not come to his aid while voluntarily checking the area. Chief Dennard acknowledged Lieutenant Charlie Ball for his leadership with the "C-Shift" and Corporal Lamar Almon for preparing the video.
