Administration of Oath for Promotion of Major Mark Cheatham
A special presentation was held for Mark Cheatham for his promotion from Captain to Major with the Acworth Police Department. Mr. Cheatham has served with the Acworth Police Department since 2008. Accompanying Mr. Cheatham was his Mother, children Louis and Katie-Knox, and girlfriend Christy. Chief Dennard administered the Administration of Oath and swore in Mr. Cheatham as Major who in turn addressed the Council, staff and thanked his family and friends for their support. Major Cheatham gave special thanks to his Mom and acknowledged her as his biggest cheerleader.
