Recognition of Parks, Recreation & Community Resources Team Members
Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Director Kim Watt acknowledged members of her team in celebration of past six months accomplishments. Team members recognized include three Level 4 leaders, Mary Beth Gibbs - Events and Communications Coordinator, Kevin Blank - Operations Manager over Facilities, and Lauren Salkill - Active Adults Coordinator; two team members receiving certifications, Edwin Lacher as a Certified Youth Sports Administrator and Brendan Stockwell as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. Team members Chuck Roshack and Jaime Noblet were recognized for assisting a motorist after an Active Adult luncheon who lost control of her car and ran into the AT&T building adjacent to the Community Center. We want to share our appreciation of both Chuck Roshack and Jamie Noblet as they jumped into action and were the first to check on the passenger, as well as called 911. Also, team member Jordon Gonzalez was acknowledged as the recipient of the Georgia Recreation & Parks District 5 Outstanding Programmer Award. Ms. Watt thanked Council for their support of Parks, Recreation and Community Resource.
