The Acworth Tree Commission was excited to accept a proclamation recognizing March 2, 2023 as Georgia Arbor Day in the City of Acworth at the Thursday, March 2 regular city council meeting. Further, the evening's events included the recognition of the 2023 Georgia Arbor Day Poster Contest winners. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's event! The City would also like to thank Dave Long with the Georgia Forestry Commission for presenting this year's flag celebrating Acworth for 34 years as a Tree City USA!
