The Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department is excited to announce that we will be offering our Acworth Youth Basketball League for children 5 – 14 years old! Registration will open on Monday, August 7 for City of Acworth residents and Monday, August 14 for non-residents. The season runs from the beginning of November until the middle of February. Teams typically play 8 games a season and there is a single-elimination tournament at the end of the year. Please see below for a listing of prices, divisions offered and other important information:

Youth Basketball Assessment Information

The following divisions will be offered:

• 5 & 6 Co-ed Division
• 7 & 8 Year Old Girls Division
• 9 & 10 Year Old Girls Division
• 6th- 8th Grade Girls Division
• 7 & 8 Year Old Boys Division
• 9 & 10 Year Old Boys Division
• 11 & 12 Year Old Boys Division
• 13 & 14 Year Old Boys Division

All participants will be required to have a birth certificate on file. If you have a birth certificate on file from a previous season or from our Acworth Youth Volleyball League, you will not need to submit another copy. Please either email a copy to parksbirthcertificate@acworth.org or bring a copy to our office located at 4361 Cherokee Street, Acworth, GA 30101. All birth certificates will be locked away and filed safely. You will not be able to register unless we have a birth certificate on file.
